The VMAs returned to New York this year to celebrate this year's biggest music stars in the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. Megan Thee Stallion did an amazing job hosting the Awards and delivering a show-stopping performance. Some of the biggest artists also got to perform: Chappell Roan made her awards show debut with a standout performance of her hit "Good Luck, Babe!" and she graced us with her “Roan of Arc” theme – which is a play with “Joan of Arc”. Sabrina Carpenter paid tribute to iconic pop culture blondes in her medley of "Please Please Please," "Taste," and "Espresso". Karol G captivated the audience and got them dancing in her performance of “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido”. Katy Perry made a wonderful performance of some of her most iconic songs. The Award show featured performances by Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, Halsey, LL Cool J feat. Public Enemy, Lenny Kravitz feat.

Sakura Miyawaki and Nako Yabuki — two members of the Korean-Japanese girl group Iz One (often stylized as Iz*One) — are in a bit of trouble. Iz One’s fans are upset the two girls are participating in a concert for HKT48. Miramax has picked up worldwide sales rights, excluding Japan, for six-part horror-suspense mini-series Crow's Blood. It's created by Japanese record producer and television writer Yasushi Akimoto, who is the mastermind behind a number of the country's top idol groups including AKB48.
