Leonie Viola Thoene attended various programs at international acting
schools (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London/ New York Film Academy,
Los Angeles, Stage School, Hamburg etc.) Her private education in Dance
(Ballett, Contemporary, HipHop) and singing (Musical, Soul) took place
at the Pineapple Dance Studios, London and Folkwang Hochschule, Essen.
She played leading roles in musicals and theatre plays in London,
Vienna and Germany.
As a director she initiated several plays and shows: E.g. "The Clock Child" (nominated for the "Youth Theatre Days"),"Literature - We Dance it!", "Train of Hope" (cross-generational play/won theatre award, "Cultre Days, Wesel"). Her Musical "Gloria" (script, composition) was professionally staged and went on tour 2008-2010.
Leonie Viola started as the youngest German crime author at the age of 13. She is member of the board of the "German Writers Association" and writes novels, short stories and scientific books. In 2012 her 11th book was published. For her compositions and writing she won numerous awards. She graduated in Sociology (MA) and cultural sciences (BA) and is now working on her PhD about Pickup Artists.
