Allison is an award-winning producer, director, and writer based in Los Angeles. She served as the Director of Editorial Video at Pride Media, where she led the video team for the largest LGBT brands in the world including The Advocate, Pride com and Out Magazine. Her videos gathered millions of views and in 2019 The Advocate won a GLAAD Award.
She worked as an associate producer on "Unfiltered", a Facebook Watch docuseries about Paris Jackson, and she supported the producer/executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning HBOMax series "Hacks". Her producing credits include Season 7 of "Hey Qween!", a drag talk show featuring "RuPaul's Drag Race" superstars, and "Danny the Manny" a web series about a gay babysitter and the cross-dressing kid he watches and influences. IndieWire called the series "nearly perfect" and listed it as one of the best web series of 2016. She also produced and directed "World View" a digital series featuring "Queer Eye" star Karamo Brown for The Advocate.
With Sofia Vergara as an executive producer, Allison directed an 8-minute documentary episode "Legacy of Love" for the Facebook Watch series "365 Days of Love" that became one of the most viewed of the series.
She has written and directed narrative comedic short films including "Carol Support Group" which premiered at Frameline Film Festival, won awards, and earned coverage from Wired, Huffington Post and more. Curve Magazine called it "the perfect homage."
At Pride Media she further diversified her portfolio by writing op-eds, creating multimedia digital journalism stories, and interviewing highly-influential media figures including Christine Vachon, Jill Soloway, Cheryl Dunye, and Kate Bornstein. Allison is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
