Growing up in New Jersey, Sonia Kay started documenting her family and filmed all
family events. It was at a young age that she knew this is what she wanted to do for a living.
After attending college in Florida, Sonia attended Seneca College and studied
Corporate Media Production. She then landed a job interning with a TV Company
in the Middle East. After 2-3 years working with Momal Productions, Sonia was offered
a Job on a feature film as a first assistant director with Bodhicitta Works. She completed
the feature and decided to continue her education at Toronto Film School to advance her
career. Sonia still works in the industry as a Producer and Professor of Film Production.
