Robert Stone is an American photographer, visual artist, and actor. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Stone spent the better part of a decade practicing a mixture of method and absorption. He went on to study at the Hartford Art School receiving a B.F.A. in Photography before making his way to Rochester, New York where he perused an M.F.A. in Photography and Related Media at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
His work deals with themes of memory, emotional trauma, domestic spaces, the veiled surface of the American psyche, and the tensions tied to our abridged life.
