Ben McGee is a career interdisciplinary scientist, emergency responder, and aspiring astronaut with side credentials as an author, college educator, and published skeptic who has appeared as either a host or a science subject matter expert on several television projects since first appearing on the National Geographic Channel in 2012. His broad, professional experience in field geology, planetary geology, hydrology, geophysics, astrophysics, space science, temporal physics, health physics (radiation safety), and nuclear forensics has led to his subsequent television appearances on a wide range of topics. Other shows of note include Weather Channel's "Forecasting the End," Travel Channel's "America Declassified" and "World Access," History Channel's "Time Beings," "The End," and "The UnXplained with William Shatner," as well as both seasons of "Black Files Declassified" on Science Channel. He is a graduate of the Las Vegas Academy of Performing, Visual Arts and International Studies (1999), he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Wyoming in 2005, and in 2018 was awarded a Master of Science in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Studies. He is currently engaged in graduate studies in Archaeology and Heritage at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
