Atlee Elizabeth Mae Feingold is a California native. Born and raised in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area, Atlee had the privilege of being surrounded by and immersed in quality Theater from a young age. In grade school, Atlee was a featured member of several Musical Theater, Dramatic Arts and Dance Companies.
In high school, she was accepted into Novato High's Marin School of the Arts where she starred in several musicals and plays such as, Midsummer's Night's Dream, Fame, Blood Brothers, and Little Shop of Horrors. After graduation Atlee was accepted into California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, where she got her BA in Theater Arts and Communications and a minor in Dance. In college Atlee wrote, directed, and produced her own projects and starred in several college performances, such as Blood Wedding. Atlee also participated in several Theatrical competitions, including the National Irene Ryan Theater Festival where she placed as one of the festival's finalists.
After graduation, Atlee moved to LA and worked primarily in production. Starting as a set PA for NBC, Atlee quickly made her way up the ladder landing jobs as an AP, Assistant Story Producer, and Production Coordinator. Working for some of LA's top Production Companies and Networks, such as, RSP/E!, FOX, ITV, VHI, TLC, GRB and BBCWP, Atlee had the invaluable opportunity to become well versed in the ins-and-outs of the industry from behind the camera. While in Production, Atlee fed her acting bug by studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and Groundlings. She also continued to audition and booked a few commercials and a pilot for Freemantle Media. Atlee also studied under David Grey, Annie Grindlay and Anthony Meindl from 2010-2016.
Atlee relocated to Seattle in 2016 and lived there from 2016-2019. There she worked as a commercial actress and model and spent most of her time performing live with her band under the name ATLEE. Atlee moved to NYC in 2019 with plans of jumping back into the acting industry, but of course, life had other plans. With the rise of COVID-19 and an incredibly challenging surprise of an emergency spinal surgery, Atlee spent the last three years literally getting back on her feet. Her priorities shifted as she learned how to walk again and care for both her body and mind.
Atlee currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with her partner, two rescue pups and an alien Sphinx cat named Pearl. She has overcome her physical ailments and re-entered the world of acting with a new found groundedness and gratefulness that propels her to live her truest and most authentically, joyful life. She acts to give herself, and all those who witness her work, the permission to FEEL something... anything. "Acting gives me the freedom to be truly human in all my messy, imperfect, me-ness... if only for a second, a minute or a day. My goal is to truly live before I die and to never, ever, forget the value of play." xxA
