Doc Benson started out in the field of railroad management, eventually making the move to media in the late 1990's. Starting as a news producer, Doc later went on to manage a television station, serve as an on-air talent, and produce programming seen across the United States. His first feature film, "Seven Deadly Words" received international distribution and earned Doc three Best Director awards. Since that time, Doc has been in demand as a Producer, Director, Consultant, and actor for various projects on three continents. In addition, Doc is a multi-award winning writer for his screenplays and other work in both print and visual media, including "Top Columnist" from the West Virginia Press Association and and a Gold Telly Award.
Doc holds multiple degrees in Business Administration, Transportation Logistics, and Ministry, and travels the across the US and internationally speaking about the business of indie filmmaking.
