Marcel Weyers was born on October 16, 1991 in Limburg an der Lahn (Germany). He soon began to write down short stories and dreams, and that way, he discovered his passion for writing. He studied English and German literature at the Justus-Liebig-University in Gießen (Germany).
In May 2011, Marcel Weyers published his first book. The German novel Schatten (Shadows) is a children and teens book and takes place in Japan. The sequels Schattenjäger (Shadow Chasers) and Schattenland (Shadow Land) followed in the same year. In 2014, he published his bestselling Raven-Saga in German, which was translated into English, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, and Russian. The Raven-Saga' was completed in February 2018 and reached #1 on the Amazon Fantasy Charts.
As a translator, Weyers worked on more than 250 free and commercial video games, including visual novels and adventure games, for various video game companies. He became known as one of the first German visual novel translators.
