Eddy Kara is a Montreal-born filmmaker who discovered his passion for filmmaking at the age of 17. With his natural talent and dedication, he quickly rose to prominence in the independent film industry. He graduated from Vanier College with a specialization in Theatre.
In 2015, Eddy's exceptional directorial skills were recognized when he won the prestigious Best Director Wreath Award for his work on "The Sociopath's Guild". His remarkable storytelling abilities were further acknowledged in 2019 when he received the Best Screenplay and Director awards for "No, Mr. Mayor: Part 2".
In 2017, he finalized his studies in Business Management at the John Molson School of Business in Montreal. Subsequently, he received a Certificate in Law from the Universite de Montreal in the following year. In 2023, he graduated from Adler University with a Masters degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
Despite his success, Eddy remains grounded and committed to creating films that are both thought-provoking and entertaining. He is a true artist who is constantly pushing the boundaries of filmmaking, and his passion for the craft is evident in every frame of his work.
