Rita Moreno will join the cast of Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of the Broadway musical “West Side Story.”

Moreno will also serve as an executive producer of the film. She won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Anita in the 1961 film version of “West Side Story.” In the new “West Side Story,” Moreno will be playing Valentina, a reconceived version of the character of Doc, the owner of the corner store in which Tony works.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I see myself revisiting this seminal work,” Moreno said. “And to be asked by Steven Spielberg to participate is simply thrilling! Then to work together with the brilliant playwright, Tony Kushner — what a glorious stew!

In a current movie landscape thats all about high budget action films with huge explosives and gun play and one dimensional story lines.   Comes this little action film , that has the feel of an old 80's martial arts flick.  The film which marks Martial Arts Star Paul Mormando's screen debut as a down on his luck underground fighter who comes to the aid of his long lost family. The film shows a ton of heart with some good solid story telling by the writer Anna Mormando, who also directed the film.   Lead by some solid performances by the supporting Castmates Bobby Ciasulli (Rob James) and newcomer Nikki Silva( Alexis James).  This story takes the viewer to the relationships or lack there of with the main...

The first trailer for indie martial arts film Bound By Debt brutalises the screen.

The new trailer for the hard hitting independent action movie Bound By Debt packs a lot of punch, along with kicks, strikes and chokeholds. The underground film about the underground fight world is set to enter the ring in December 2017.

Bound by Debt marks the debut of writer-director Anna Mormando. Martial artist and film fight choreographer Paul Mormando (Double Fist, American Sensei) plays Dylan James, a Mixed Martial Arts competitor who fights for the same mob that his degenerate gambling brother Robert, played by Bobby Ciasulli of Real Housewives Of New Jersey, is in debt to.

Mob boss Mr. Russo, played by Samuel Difiore (The Genesis Project), holds Robert’s wife and two daughters Alexis (Nikki Silva) and Nicole (Alexis Mormando) as a personal marker. The film also features Michele Frantzeskos (The Right To Live...

Paul Mormando's upcoming action Drama Bound By Debt has concluded filming and now heads into post-production to prepare for its Summer release. Check out the teaser now!   There hasn't been any official confirmation yet, so there may still be a few Last minute edits, but according to a couple of posts from producer Paul Mormando & one of the film's stars, Put Up Entertainment's upcoming Bound By Debt wrapped  after about four months of action-packed filming. The Anna Mormando-helmed picture will now head into an extensive post-production phase as it prepares for its eagerly-awaited  release date.
