Blake Anthony(II)
- Actor
Blake Anthony Perret was born in Beverly Hills, California in 1989, the son of Norwegian born Ellie Dahl, an HR director for the Four Seasons Los Angeles, and Argentinian born Daniel Horacio Perret, a hairstylist and Father Guido impersonator. Blake's father was born in Buenos Aires, of Italian, French, and Spanish ancestry. When Blake was four his parents marriage dissolved, and he moved with his mother and older sister, Olivia Perret, to Seattle, then San Diego. Stepfather #1 was Carl Fliegalman, a Wall Street stockbroker - he and Ellie divorced within a year, after which she went on to marry (and divorce) 5 time national Romanian wrestling champion Sorin Balaianu, a timeshare salesman. Blake never reconnected with his biological father who died of lung cancer.
In high school, Blake was lukewarm toward academics but took a keen interest in football (as pass catcher, he earned the nickname "Sticky Fingers") and drama. Upon graduation Blake, lost and searching for answers, drifted across the country for several years often staying on hippie communes. Fate ultimately struck when Blake was hospitalized for two life threatening pulmonary embolisms which led to a kidney infarct and heart surgery. After months recovering in the ICU Blake realized his true calling and decided to return to his birthplace to pursue an acting career.
