Henry Gagliardi
- Actor
- Producer
Henry's adventures in acting can be traced back to a single moment at Philadelphia Comic Con in June
2012. While at a Q&A attended by hundreds, on his own, then 6-year-old
Henry stood up and asked a question of
Chris Hemsworth
(Thor (2011)), and in the process of
speaking with him, won over Mr. Hemsworth and the audience with his
personality. As a result, Henry was told he should submit his
information to a local Philadelphia agent and was promptly signed. Not
sure if much would actually come of it, Henry's parents were surprised
when he booked jobs off his first 3 auditions (Principal in a Six Flags
Safari commercial, Photo Double for the NBC show
Do No Harm (2013), and Principal
in a Radio Shack commercial). Subsequently, Henry was signed by a
New York City agency and has had many great experiences working in
various student films, short films, local and national commercials, including a principal role in a heavily promoted Charles Schwab campaign,
television series, including featured roles in
Royal Pains (2009) and
The Knick (2014), and a recurring role on CBS'Limitless (2015), live theatre as a lead in the "Radio City Christmas Spectacular," and feature films, including
The Grief of Others (2015), 7th Secret (2022), and Trainwreck (2015) (his part was cut from the final film but he learned a lot and is on the DVD's gag reel and in deleted scenes). Through it all, Henry has remained a kid, now a teen, with a "normal" life who has enjoyed participating in activities such as soccer, baseball, gymnastics, robotics, JROTC, playing guitar and competing on a Worlds-level elite all-star cheerleading team.
