Steven Lee Potvin

Originally from Rimouski (in the province of Quebec, Canada), Steven Lee Potvin graduated from the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec in 2016 as a member of the Robert Lepage class. In the space of three years, he had the chance to tread the boards of several theaters in the Capitale-Nationale region and eastern Quebec. He launched his career at Théâtre du Bic with "Le cas Joé Ferguson" by Isabelle Hubert, directed by Jean-Sébastien Ouellette. The play was revived at Théâtre du Trident and earned him a nomination for the Nicky-Roy Award, given to a promising young actor. Steven Lee also appears at the Théâtre du Trident in the stage adaptation of the film "Les Bons Débarras", directed by Frédéric Dubois. He also participated in the creation of "Doggy dans Gravel" by Oliver Arteau at Théâtre Premier Acte. He returns to Théâtre du Bic in summer 2017 to play the title role in "Ti-Marc (le grand!)" by Cédric Landry, directed by Eudore Belzile. In 2019, he plays in the play "Antigone" presented at Le Trident (directed by Olivier Arteau, awarded Best Show by the AQCT), in Charles Fournier's "FOREMAN" at Le Périscope (directed by Marie-Hélène Gendreau and Olivier Arteau, winner of the AQCT award for best original text and CALQ award for work of the year) and in "Fin septembre, début janvier", at Théâtre du Bic (directed by Eudore Belzile). This year, he plays for the first time at Théâtre La Bordée in "Rouge", a duet directed by Olivier Normand, and in 2021, he will be part of the cast of "Jusqu'au bout", directed by Eric Jean.
