After serving several years in the rodeo, Lish made the move to Los Angeles to pursue her career in entertainment.
Getting her start in the world of theatre, she received her first nomination for best actress for her roles as a cowboy named "Cisco" in Sam Shepard's "The Unseen Hand" and "Bunny" in the iconic "House of Blue Leaves" by John Guare. Soon after, Lish found herself in the world of improv and comedy.
