Ilaria was born in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Her artistic career began as a contemporary dancer in Rome, touring nationally across the country. She immigrated to New York City where she studied acting at the renowned theater conservatory, William Esper Studio. After graduating, Ilaria started to write and produce her own work. Ilaria's award-winning short films served as a springboard, inspiring her to expand her horizons into feature scripts and television. In 2023 Ilaria wrote and produced her fourth short film, "Halted," which marked her debut as a director. In 2024 Ilaria produced and directed the period short film "Return To Lake Ouachita", written by David Newer. In 2024 she is developing, in collaboration with Pipeline Entertainment, the Historical TV Shows 'Matilda of Canossa', based on the Italian novel 'The Novel of Matilda' written by Elisa Guidelli and 'Veronica', based on the true story of Venetian poetess, prostitute, and Tintoretto's muse, Veronica Franco. The pilot script of 'Veronica' won the Italian MiBAC prize in 2021. Ilaria remains committed to collaborating with daring and experienced artists alike, bringing fresh and captivating narratives to the screen.
