Directing her first short over ten years ago, she has since directed many films and secured funding with repeated success from arts councils and private investors. She values characters overall and appreciates a good adventure. A penchant for sci-fi and fantasy permeates her work, along with her wit and ability to find humor in even the darkest things, she is not one to dwell in the darkness.
Lucy works tirelessly to keep the Canadian film industry accessible to as many people as possible and actively helps build pathways for other transgender people to make their way into the industry.
