Matthew Tarricone was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland, to Paula Price, a Medical Sales Director, and Christian Tarricone, a Tile and Marble contractor. He was raised with two siblings, Jason and Toni. From a young age Matthew was drawn to the arts. He immersed himself in films as a child and began filming his own home movies. In the 6th grade, he took his first step toward acting in his school's musical production of The Wiz, followed by many school plays and musicals over the years.
Matthew attended Towson University in Baltimore, MD, where he earned a degree in Political Science. While in school, he earned credits in the theater department and roomed with a friend who was pursuing a degree in Film/Media. This gave Matthew an opportunity to participate in many short films that his college peer directed.
After graduating from Towson, Matthew started his professional life in tech-sales. Early in his career a manager of his learned of Matthews passions for acting and encouraged him to pursue that dream while working in business.
While living in Washington, DC, Matthew made his TV debut in 2013 in a leading role on Investigation Discovery, Forbidden. Being on larger scale set excited Matthew and drove him to relocate to New York to land him more opportunities in TV, Film, and Stage. He's continued his creative journey with work in commercials (Scott's Lawn Care, BDO USA), TV shows (Wu-Tang on Hulu, Food that Built America, Titans: The Rise of Wall Street), stage, and films (LiveLove, Treasure Trackers, Firelight).
While in New York, Matthew attended the Acting Studio, headed by Studio Director and Founder, James Price. In 2018 he decided to migrate West to Los Angeles to see what the fuss was about. After a few years, a commercial, and several short films, Matthew decided to return to concrete jungle of New York in 2021. He continues to work in Tech by day while pursuing his Acting career in tandem.
