Joshua Pollitt first found fame into the acting/theatre world during the summer of 1998 when he auditioned for the "Lion King" play at his elementary school's Summer Theatre Program in Camden, New Jersey. He won the part in playing the role of "Scar"; the antagonist and brother of "Mufasa".

Joshua Pollitt is the founder of East Coast Magazine.

Joshua Pollitt was elected class president of his graduating class at Hazleton Area High School in Hazleton, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2006 as a junior.
