Mario is an American actor of Cuban descent from Hialeah, Florida. He first discovered his passion for the arts when he was gifted a drum set from his parents at the age of 11. His love for music soon grew into singing and performing in his high school musical theater productions. After having performed in various stage plays, Mario decided he wanted to explore the world of Film/TV.
Mario's television debut was the role of Javier Menendez on the USA Network series Complications. He went on to portray the lead in the award winning short Last Wishes directed by Herschel Weingrod . He followed those performance with his recurring role of Benito on the NBC series Game of Silence.
Although acting is his main passion Mario has enjoyed other areas of the film and TV world with his recent moves into writing, producing and directing.
