Lily Yawson (she,they) is a Ghanaian, French Canadian, Actor, Producer and emerging Director from Toronto, Ontario currently based in Vancouver, BC. After training with some of Toronto's top acting coaches, Lily dived into acting and went on to star and co-produce their 1st short film "Awake". Shortly after, Lily started their professional acting career in 2019 with their 1st lead role in the premiere episode of "If I Should Die". A television series released on Discovery Plus & Apple TV.
In 2020, Lily landed the role of "Adwoa's Mother", in the feature film " In Her City". A film about young women in three of the epicentres of North America, exploring their diversity, intersection and commonality. "In Her City" was released in Vancouver's "Whistler Film Festival" and was nominated for a "Leo Award" the following year. In the early months of 2021, Lily decided to move from Ontario to Vancouver to pursue their love for film in a new environment.
Their move proved to be the right choice as Lily was quickly represented by one of Vancouver's most reputable agents, Leyla Carriera at Lucas Talent. Lily Yawson has booked multiple Warner Brothers TV Series from 2021 until present. Shows airing on the CW network like "Batwoman", "DC Legends of Tomorrow" and her most notable Sci-Fi role as "The Original Dreamer" on "The Flash", currently available on Netflix, playing alongside Candice Patton (Iris) & Nicole Maines (Nia/ Dreamer).
It didn't take long for Lily's talents to continue to land other prominent roles. Lily not only played "Nurse Nadine", Melissa Joan Hart's best friend in the Lifetime movie "Dirty Little Secret", but can also be found on " So Help Me Todd" and "A Million Little Things" available on Amazon Prime & Stack TV.
In 2023, Lily Yawson started Ofie Productions Inc (pronounced oh-fe-yay) in Vancouver where she acts, produces and directs music videos, web-series, short & feature films. A film production company dedicated to telling stories that resonate with the rich tapestry of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ human experience.
