- Karlton T. Clay has always loved to write. He began writing at a very young age. But it wasn't until his time at Davidson Fine Arts School in Augusta, GA that he began to get involved in production and wanting to use his gift of writing as his career. However, on March 18th, 2002, at the age of 16, Karlton was diagnosed with acute lymphoma leukemia; however, from this terrible life-altering experience, VICTORY PRODUCTIONS was born. Karlton graduated from Davidson Fine Arts School in 2004, and he graduated from Georgia State University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in film and television production.
Under Victory Productions, Karlton has written, produced, and directed several theatre productions, short films, 15 series totaling 424 episodes, and 11 feature films, which can be streamed on NBC's Peacock TV, FOX's Tubi, Sony's Crackle, and other streaming services. Karlton is also the author of a 4-part book series entitled As The Earth Spins and two poetry books: Ebbs & Flows (2020) and Raw-N-UnKut (2022) - both titles are also available as EPs under the moniker KayCee Thee Poet on all digital platforms. Karlton also serves as the founder and editor-in-chief of VPN MAG, which began in 2018, and is a digital producer and the digital interviewer for WJBF News Channel 6 in Augusta.
In 2017, Karlton was named one of the Top 10 Young Professionals of Augusta by the Augusta Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, he was named one of Georgia's Top 40 Under 40 Professionals by Georgia Trend Magazine.
In everything he does, Karlton hopes to remain true to who he is and be that beacon of hope that will inspire others to follow their dreams. - In addition to Karlton's work in film, as of 2011 he has written and produced seven stage plays: 'Leukemia & Me' (2004), 'Judgment Day' (2005), 'Judgment Day 2: Temptation Island' (2006), 'Judgment Day III: Redemption Song' (2007), 'The Lord's Prayer' (2008), 'Surrender' (2009), and 'Turn Around High School' (2011).
- Karlton's first series, 'College Daze', originally aired on Cleveland, Ohio's Open Student Television Network from 2006 to 2008. It was subsequently shown on Augusta, Georgia's independent channel, WBEK, and was the first original scripted program on that network.
