Liza Korotka is a young filmmaker from Ukraine currently works in Toronto. In April 2019 she graduated from a bachelor's degree in Film and Media Production at Humber College in 2019. Some short movies that Liza directed have been entered in International Film festivals. The short documentary "My Country Is Missing" by Liza Korotka screened at Toronto's JAYU Human Rights Film Festival in December 2018. The film also screened at Los Angeles Independent Short Film Festival - Independent Shorts Awards, where it won two bronze awards for "Best Women Short" and "Best Young Filmmaker". In Addition it screened in the California Film Awards, and Berlin Lift-Off Online Film Festival. The fiction short film by Liza Korotka called "Princess Nina" won best student short at Yosemite International Film Festival and screened at various international live and online film festivals.
