Jorge Neto is an actor, singer and director. Son of an Afro-indigenous Brazilian father and mother who immigrated to Portugal when the artist was 12 years old. He was part of the choir of the Cascais Music Conservatory and starred in classics in the school's theater group, such as: "The Bear" and "Platonov" by Chekhov. He began his professional career at age 17. He has a degree from the Superior School of Theater and Cinema (ESTC) in Lisbon - Portugal, with an exchange at USP (University of São Paulo).
He is one of the artists of the Berlinale Talents - Berlin International Film Festival; He worked with acclaimed directors such as Fernando Meirelles, André Novais, Juliana Rojas, and Matheus Parizzi in "First Act", which premiered at Tiger Short Competition - Rotterdam International Film Festival. He was part of the cast of several shows, such as those awarded: "Moçambique", by the Mala Voadora company, with Isabél Zuaa and Welket Bungué; "The Lion King" (Musical-Broadway), with Gilberto Gil and Julie Taymor; "Life and Times - Episode 2", with the New York company Nature Theater of Oklahoma.
