Jonathan Vanderzon is a New York trained, Canadian actor of Dutch and Portuguese descent. His parents alongside his uncles, ran a landscaping and snow removal business south of Montreal. Raised on the outskirts of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, at 9 years old he took to the stage as a means of improving his French.
Growing up he always had a knack for storytelling, and in addition to creating skits and homemade movies, he loved drawing as well as writing. Throughout high school, he balanced his time between competitive swimming, acting and academia, and graduated at the top of his class.
During his post-secondary education, he worked as a summer camp counsellor, a lifeguard and a swim instructor. He had already completed a health science degree and half of a Bachelor of Engineering before enrolling at an acting conservatory and pursuing his craft full time.
Jonathan Vanderzon is an alumni of the TT Two Year Acting Conservatory in NYC. His hobbies include singing, video editing and writing.
