Priscila Guedes was born in Rio de Janeiro and studied International Relations as her first major. Later she entered the National School of Arts of the Federal University where she studied Visual Arts. Guedes has lived between The US (Hawai'i, Los Angeles, New York) and Europe (Paris, Marseille, and Lisbon) for over 14 years. In France, she majored in Films and later specialized in High-tech Cinematography, Film direction, and Film Industry Innovations.
Priscila signs the Cinematography of a few feature-length fiction films in the European market, such as Skokan (from director Petr Václav) and Un Profil Pour Deux (from director Stéphane Robelin). The latter made Priscila eligible for the Le Césars & Techniques awards in The Best Direction of Photography 2018.
During Covid-19, she released a short film called O-CE-AN, (as a scriptwriter and film director) distributed in 2021, and had 9 worldwide awards as The best woman film director and The best experimental short film.
She's based in Switzerland and works as a Director of Photography for fiction and documentaries worldwide.
