Stuart Wright is an award winning screenwriter, receiving THE OWL SCREENWRITER AWARD for Best Feature Film Script from the inaugural year of the Athens Film Office screenwriting programme (supported by the Marche Du Film) at Cannes Film Festival 2023.
He is adapting David Nolan's Manc Noir novel BLACK MOSS and Justin Robertson's folk horror novel for TV with UK prodco Free@Last TV.
Stuart also has a number of exciting genre films in development with Pinball Films. Most notably the folk sci-fi GODLING is one of eight projects taking part in the European Genre Forum 2024; and his black metal horror NOTHING HOLY was selected for the New Nordics Co-production market 2024 at Haugesund, Norway and has been optioned to a Norwegian production company.
