Brent Yoshida
- Actor
Brent Yoshida is an actor driven by imagination and individuals of various backgrounds uniting for a common goal. He hopes to encourage others to discover their unique path and pursue their biggest dreams.
From the age of five, Brent unknowingly took his first steps towards an acting career by participating in various programs including martial arts, school theater and piano. He struggled academically in Elementary due to dyslexia, but his family set strict expectations and encouraged him to persevere through adversities. Many failures followed, but the work ethic spread to other interests, which led to him becoming a three-sport Varsity Athlete and setting the 200m Track School Record. He graduated High School with Honors and was named "Best All-Around" by the Senior Class.
He started 8 of the 13 games on Special Teams Kickoff Coverage for USC's Football Program, earned the nickname "Kamikaze" and was part of 2 Rose Bowl Championship teams. Upon graduation, Brent became the first student-athlete in USC history to graduate from the School of Architecture (5 year) program while starting on Kickoff. It was a manifestation of the special people and hard work previously mentioned.
He's an advocate for creating positive change with hundreds of hours of community service and over 100 public speaking engagements for sports teams, businesses and schools.
In November of 2018, Yoshida went into acting full-time. He has since booked multiple commercials and print campaigns working with Fortune 500 companies and nearly 10 theatrical projects within 6 months (Pre-SAG strike). Brent is a versatile actor who looks forward to collaborating to share captivating stories.
