Noelle Figueroa is an Afro-Latina, born and raised in Harlem, NY. She found her passion for literature and entertainment after performing in local plays at a young age. Growing up with three other siblings in a household filled with kisses and chaos, she credits this time as the most significant influence on her family-centered and emotionally complex drama and horror scripts.
She studied the fundamentals of screenwriting at NYU to create work that tells authentic stories about her community. Her feature horror film script JOHN 8:44 generated industry buzz, being placed in several competitions, including the ScreenCraft Horror Competition, Miami Screenplay Awards, and Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards. Her coming-of-age drama feature, WTF AM I DOING?, is currently in post-production, where she served as a writer and co-director.
