Monique Hurteau, MBA, is an executive producer, business affairs consultant and lapsed stand-up comedian. She holds an MBA with a specialization in Management Consulting and has experience across multiple industries including advising lawyers on deals ranging from $75M to $3B.
She's an alumna of Women in the Director's Chair (WIDC), Top 25 Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices Pitch Program (2019), was selected for the Banff Spark Accelerator inaugural cohort at the Banff World Media Festival and the Creative Industries Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) with the World Trade Centre in Vancouver.
Monique's also experienced on stage and screen too. She's performed stand-up comedy across Canada, appeared on CTV and as a writer for the iconic Canadian comedy series, CBC's The Debaters. She's also written for opening events of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights.
Monique also wrote, produced + co-directed, the documentary Chasing Lear (2016) with her Through and Thru Films Co-Founder Lorne Cardinal known for FBI: Most Wanted (2020), Corner Gas (2004), Corner Gas Animated (2018) and Peabody award-winning Molly of Denali (2019).
