Gina Gershon guest stars in Doctor Odyssey season 1, episode 3, and she expects happy faces and perfection. Don’t miss a beat of the new episode!
After navigating the single life during the previous episode, it’s all about “Plastic Surgery Week” on board the Odyssey this week. That means a lot of “perfect” faces, and Gershon’s character expects them all to be happy faces. That’s not going to be all that easy when there’s a medical emergency.

Doctor Odyssey is ready to set sail, and the trailer shows the amazing bevy of guest stars about to board the new ABC drama!
Medical dramas are a dime a dozen on TV but ABC’s upcoming Doctor Odyssey is something different. Created by producer Ryan Murphy, the series features Joshua Jackson as Dr. Max Bankman, a once-superstar doctor who nearly died during the Covid-19 pandemic. Max decides to settle for what he thinks is a less stressful job as the doctor on a cruise ship.
Max figures his days will be filled with folks battling seasickness and sunburn. He soon discovers that people have a bad habit of picking a cruise to suffer a serious medical emergency and he has to save them while lacking the resources of a hospital.

The Doctor is in, and we're ready to see the many saves and medical emergencies. Doctor Odyssey arrives in less than a week, and the first full-length trailer is out.
We already knew to expect some top-named guest stars here and there. After all, the Queen of Country Pop is going to be in at least one episode, and the latest trailer gives us the same clip from the teaser. We still have no idea who Shania Twain is going to play.
That's not all. The Doctor Odyssey trailer makes it clear there are more big names. It looks like a big guest star per episode, which makes sense considering how many people Ryan Murphy has worked with over the year.
John Stamos, Cheyenne Jackson, and more joining the guest list on Doctor Odyssey

Joshua Jackson is headed aboard a luxury cruise ship as Max Bankman, the Odyssey’s new on-board doctor. But his job is anything but relaxing as he and nurses Tristan (Sean Teale) and Avery (Phillipa Soo) are all hands-on-deck to navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore.
“We’ve constructed a paradise here,” Don Johnson’s Captain Robert Massey says in a new trailer for the Ryan Murphy series. “But make no mistake about it, we have to be prepared for everything.”
The two-minute trailer, which features the song “Fever,” sees the team taking on various patients, from one woman who needs to be revived to a man who has fallen overboard and needs to be rescued. It also sees a romance develop between Bankman and Avery, with the pair having an awkward conversation in the elevator after a shirtless make-out session in Bankman’s office.

Maureen Duffy‘s 1966 book “The Microcosm” has been adapted as a film featuring two-time Oscar winner Glenda Jackson. In 1966 London, when homosexuality was still criminalized, The Gateways club in Chelsea offered a haven for women to dance, express themselves and love who they want. In the book, based on her own experience, Duffy examined if this gay bar, and those like it, really offered the freedom its patrons crave. In the film, Jackson, along with director Joe Ingham, draw parallels between the past and the present and explore the uncomfortable paradox that exists within queer spaces.
The Cheerio production featuring an original score by Helen Noir and animation by Rebecca L. Weil, opens at museum of British LGBTQ history, Queer Britain, London, on Oct. 12.
Duffy said: “The film is awesome. I am amazed I wrote these words all those years ago. I hope they still have a resonance today.

Exclusive: The Peter Kallinteris Agency is launching Hollywood’s first talent division, dedicated specifically to diverse artists from the LGBTQ+ community.
The agency’s founder, Peter Kallinteris, made the announcement on Monday.
“Throughout the history of cinema, gays and lesbians have been portrayed in stereotypical roles and both are still often played by straight people,” he said, “but within the broader queer culture, there are subcultures, just as within any community. There are nuances within each that will never find its way in a table read. To create an authentic moment, the space has to be made for those who have lived that life every day. These are their stories, and they should have representation on screen. That’s why this division is so important.

The return of the Human Ken Doll. Justin Jedlica, who appeared on the very first episode of Botched when it premiered in 2014, is back on tonight's all-new special, Botched: Where Are They Now! As fans of the E! show may recall, Justin initially sought out Drs. Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif in hopes that they'd operate on him using a plastic surgery plan he came up with himself. At that point in his life, he had already undergone several hundred cosmetic procedures—from five nose jobs to implants in his chest, butt, biceps, triceps, cheeks and chin—but he was still far from his goal of ultimate perfection. Over the years, Justin's continued...
