Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Omar "Apollo" Askew is a versatile, charismatic and quick-witted actor and model with both credited and uncredited roles in a number of commercials, TV series, short films, movies and other productions.
Apollo began acting while in high school and spent several years modeling while working with his father as part of the Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marines and was stationed in San Diego Ca.
His credited film appearances include commercials for the United States Marine Corps, Audi and Ultimate Fighting Championship, as well as the TV series Between Bullets and Enigma. Most recently, he held prominent roles in the full-length feature films, A Lot Like Christmas, Redemption and a few that is in post production.
Apollo's modeling experience includes appearances in local California magazines. He's also earned numerous athletic awards, including the Southern California Physique National Qualifier and International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro League Qualifier.
In addition to being a Marine, Apollo is also a personal trainer, fitness coach, MMA fighter, and public speaker.
