- Is not close with former fellow colleague and actress Kathleen Rose Perkins. Although they worked together on You Can't Take It With You (1991), Up The Down Staircase (1992), and Fame (1992), they went on their own separate paths.
- Is a songwriter and musician. He has written a number of songs that have not been recorded, although he is planning to record soon enough.
- Is a huge fan of Star Trek (1966) and its entire franchise. He prefers to be called a Trekker, not a "Trekkie.".
- Is also a huge fan of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) and its franchise. He is known to family and a few of his pals that he's a Star Wars gamer.
- Is a big fan of British composer Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and his theatrical works. He became a fan of the composer in the early 1990s when he fell in love with Lloyd-Webber's Phantom of the Opera at the Fox Theatre. He then saw the show twice at the Pantages Theatre in Toronto, Ontario. He thanks his old late mentor Joseph Paul Abell for first falling in love with the show (considering Abell was a fan of the opera). All of that led to his discovery of Lloyd-Webber and his complete works.
