Heather D. Robinson was born and raised in Michigan. She began Theater,
dance, & modeling at the age of 5. By 10 years old she was writing
stories and by 15 had turned those into full fledged novels, most have
never been published or even seen by others. But They would fall into
the category of young adult novels. Mainly the romantic type but also
some thrillers. Her Senior year of High school she met her best friend
Michael S. Fields and together they began hatching a plan for bursting
into the film world. In 2000 they put together a cast, crew, and script
and made their first movie The Roommates, a comedy. This followed up
with 2 other Roommates films and in 2010 Heather made her Directorial
Debut with the Feature Psychological Thriller Oblivion. (Set to be
released in 2012 by Monroe Home Entertainment & AME).
After Oblivion she directed her second film Friend Zone a romantic comedy, set in the late 1990's. In 2011 she put together 2 teams for the DWIFF & Detroit 48 hr film challenges. Divination & Road Kill were both dark comedies. Producer Eric Tuchelske of Dog At My Feet Productions, brought Heather on to direct his film Goodbye Walt and will follow that up with Celeb-The Dark Side of Fame, in 2012.
Consistently busy, Heather is always willing to help others on their projects and in she hopes to tackle two more of her own projects in late 2012 and 2013, Unbalanced the follow up to Oblivion and Kiss Me Deadly a horror film.
Heather resides in Garden City MI with her Husband and 1 year old daughter.
