Giacomo Gex

Half British and French, Giacomo Gex was raised in the Sinai desert and on the island of Ibiza (he is fluent in Spanish, French and English). During his early teenage years he cultivated a strong passion for acting whilst performing in school plays and at the age of 13 he was gifted a small camcorder which also spawned a passion for filmmaking. At 21 Giacomo wrote, directed and produced his first scripted short film set in Ibiza, produced in association with the award winning London based production company Passion Pictures. Shortly after he made Repoman (2015), a short documentary selected by various film festivals around the world including the Sheffield DocFest. Giacomo has since starred as the lead in the upcoming feature film Universe 25. He is currently developing a new feature film set in Ibiza as well as completing his first feature documentary to be released in 2024.
