The Philadelphia edition of the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest has unveiled its 2025 lineup, headlined by Bay Area thrash legends Exodus and Swedish death metal vets Dismember.

In its eighth year at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, the two-day fest is set for April 4th and 5th. A Live Nation pre-sale for passes begins Tuesday (October 28th) at 10 a.m. Et using the code Tempo. General ticket sales start Friday (November 1st) at 10 a.m. Et via Ticketmaster.

The first night will be headlined by Dismember, performing their vaunted debut album Like an Ever Flowing Stream in its entirety. On the second night, Exodus will also be playing a full album, performing the iconic thrash masterpiece Bonded by Blood in full. Both acts will also play an additional set of “hits.”

Superhero movies aren't for everyone. There are many actors who have donned capes, cowls, and spandex, later admitting that they didn't enjoy the experience and wouldn't do it again.

However, only a small handful of performers have returned to roles they hated.

Writer Matt Wayne is most popularly known for his work on the animated series Niko and the Sword of Light, Ben 10: Omniverse, and Cannon Busters. The writer served as the managing editor at Milestone Media, where he worked on titles such as Icon and Hardware. Milestone Media was co-founded by Dwayne McDuffie, who worked on Bruce Timm’s Justice League Unlimited. Wayne is also the writer of Shadow Cabinet and Heroes.

Matt Wayne joined Justice League Unlimited in season three as the head writer. As the name suggests, specifically based on the Justice League team, the animated series featured an array of superheroes from the DC Comics universe. The series is said to be a direct sequel to the Justice League animated series and served as the eighth and concluding animated series in the Dcau. Matt Wayne, in an interview, revealed the heroes he had the most fun writing for.

Dave Bautista has excelled in his acting career, to say the least. He is one of those entertainers who made a switch from bodybuilding/WWE to acting and absolutely nailed it. From Drax, the Destroyer in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy to Scott Ward in Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, he has portrayed some memorable characters in his acting career spanning nearly two decades.

Takashi Yamazaki's "Godzilla Minus One" was an unexpectedly large hit in the United States, and currently holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing Japanese-language Godzilla film in U.S. box office history. "Minus One" is also unique in the Godzilla canon in that it affects an optimistic worldview. Several Godzilla movies in the franchise tended to zero in on Godzilla's horrifying nuclear origins, pointing out that the monster is the direct result of atomic testing. Humans were only able to destroy Godzilla in Ishiro Honda's 1954 film "Gojira" by creating a new weapon even more devastating than the atomic bomb. That film is sad and dour and pessimistic. In contrast, "Godzilla Minus One" is about how ingenuity and redemption are still possible after World War II, and that humans needn't be hopeless or obsessed with death. It's okay, "Minus One" argues, to let go of the violence.

Former WWE wrestler Dave Bautista is all over Hollywood these days. He's appeared in films like "Spectre," "Blade Runner 2049," "Army of the Dead," "Dune," "Stuger," "Knock at the Cabin," and "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery." He is, of course, currently starring in the Marvel film "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," reprising the role of Drax the Destroyer. The character is the heart of this group and, along with Mantis (Pom Klementieff), the comic relief. Drax takes everything literally, sometimes thinks he can make himself invisible, and would do absolutely anything for his friends.

When he was up for the role of Drax in the 2014 film "Guardians of the Galaxy," he couldn't have known how much his life would change when James Gunn cast him. He'd been auditioning and had seen other wrestlers like Dwayne Johnson make the transition from wrestling to acting, but it hadn't really taken off for him yet.

Dax knocked Lethal to the mat with a shoulder tackle. Lethal countered with an up-kick. The two opponents chain wrestled. Lethal cartwheeled and then dropkicked Harwood. Dax and Jay traded chops in the corner! Dax tossed Lethal overhead with a big back body drop! Lethal shoved Harwood off the top turnbuckle. Lethal was looking for a double sledge but Dax countered and then hit three German Suplexes on Lethal. Lethal came back with the Lethal combination for a near fall on Dax Harwood.
