Born and raised in South Carolina, Rob spent the early part of his childhood with his brothers, engulfed in sports, creative arts and outdoor activities. His neighborhood crew was nicknamed "The Goonies" after their love for the Spielberg adventure film. At 15, he caught the acting bug after doing several commercials and plays and life was never the same.
At 17, after high school graduation, he pursued his college studies at Auburn University in Alabama, focusing on International Business initiatives, and trying to build a comedy improv group within the Business school. During college, he spent two semesters researching and providing international marketing analysis in Prague, Czech Republic and Budapest, Hungary focusing on the arrival of Euro in 1999. After graduation, he visited every country in Europe, eventually settling in the beach town of Lagos, Portugal working as a bartender at the legendary Ye Olde Tavern. A constant nomad, Rob has spent the last 25 years traveling the world and living in Europe, New York City, LA, and numerous islands in the Caribbean. He is now based in Charleston, SC.
In addition to his acting career, Rob pursues life with a passion that includes his insatiable love of travel, restaurants and real estate. Rob is a proud restaurant owner and has been a part of sales and marketing initiatives for luxury resort developments in St. Kitts, Turks and Caicos, Costa Rica, Anguilla, Park City, UT, The Cliffs, and his home base of Charleston, SC. He owns the oldest corner store in Charleston, the iconic 100 year old Queen Street Grocery.
