The Horror Collective have announced they will be releasing Planet Thunder’s bold and fascinating sci-fi body horror film Shifter – which had its world premiere at this year’s deadCenter Film Festival in Oklahoma City, where it won Best Oklahoma Feature – on August 6th on VOD and On Demand platforms.
Directed by Jacob Burns, who co-wrote alongside Zach Burns, Shifter stars Nicole Fancher (Unchained Love), Ashley Mandanas (Golden Arm), Paul T. Taylor (Hellraiser: Judgment), and Jamie Brewster (The Adventures of Jurassic Pet: Chapter 1); and tells the story of a young woman who experiences painful and gruesome side effects after an experiment with time travel goes wrong.

Shifter is a sci-fi body horror film. From writers Jacob and Zach Burns, this feature had its World Premiere at the Dead Center Film Festival, in Oklahoma City. Now, the film is slated for a Digital launch in August. Starring Nicole Fancher (Unchainced Love), Ashley Mandanas (Golden Arm) and Paul T. Taylor, this title follows a young woman and her attempts at time travel. The film's official poster and trailer are available via the Horror Collective. The trailer shows the protagonist changed by her time travelling experiences. A dark mass is growing under her skin and it might be time to step back into the time machine, before it is too late. Shifter will debut on August 6th. To show on most, major Digital platforms, Shifter promises a blend of sci-fi and horror as characters struggle with a bend in time!
