Growing up, Krista was only allowed to watch black & white movies, so she became a huge Charlie Chaplin and Marx Brothers fan. She feels very lucky to have grown up in NYC where she was introduced to the stage at an early age at the artistic Waldorf school in Manhattan. She continued growing her passion for acting and singing and studied musical theater at the AMDA Conservatory, and got the chance to perform off-Broadway and in many NYC theater festivals.
Krista's most recent role as the villain in the feature film Awaken, starring along side Tobin Bell (Saw), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), and the late legend Ed Asner, will be coming out on Netflix next year. Her proudest roles to date are the 'Sexual female' on 30 Rock, and her lead in the thriller The Caregiver as a woman suffering from ALS. She can also be seen in her recurring role on the series Sangre Negra (Robert Miano, Eric Roberts, Erik Estrada), now streaming on Tubi.
