In a world where there are a lot of indie filmmakers doing it wrong, it's refreshing when it's done right.
Now, I'm not talking about film quality or tired stories etc. I'm talking about old fashioned "We actually give a shit about our fans and want them to know." It's about the little things.
Running a horror website for over seven years in the red with no steady income stream generated by the site can get quite discouraging. What makes it worse is when filmmakers and producers feel they are gracing you with their film and doing you a favor by "letting you" watch their movie's, forgetting that the professional rout is to offer a screener for review consideration.
Here at MoreHorror we try to get to as many screeners as we can, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Sometimes, there's no real incentive, just a sense of expectation,...

Dear God No!
Stars: Jett Bryant, Madeline Brumby, Paul McComiskey, Olivia Lacroix, Shane Morton, Johnny Collins, Nik Morgan | Written and Directed by James Bickert
Blame Quentin Taranino and Robert Rodriguez. Since their Death Proof and Planet Terror double bill, Grindhouse, named for the genre they were paying tribute to, surfaced in 2007, there’s been resurgence in cheap and cheerful exploitation and horror films. They generally involve copious amounts of gore, lots of exposed breasts, an illustrated montage poster and plenty of nods to the genre’s seventies heyday. Films such as Machete, Hobo with a Shotgun, Drive Angry, Iron Sky and to some extent Black Dynamite are all examples of the revival of the genre. Whilst to some extent, grindhouse never went away, it never got the kind of attention it currently enjoys and one imagines that a lot of films have been made since that never would have before.

Check out a first "Frankenstein Created Bikers" poster which is both entertaining well-designed. The horror directed by James Bickert opens some time 2013, with a cast including Shane Morton, Paul McComiskey, Nik Morgan and John Collins. Never heard of this film, the helmer, or the cast before, and can you blame me? "Frankenstein Created Bikers" from Big World Pictures' is currently in pre-production phase and follows “Dear God No!” As far as "Dear God No!" goes, the film follows outlaw motorcycle gang The Impalers through a murder spree that ends in a home invasion gone terribly wrong when they attack two graduate students, a disgraced Anthropologist and his teenage daughter. A demonic creature in the woods, a deadly secret in the basement, rivers of blood and abundant nudity add to the surprises that are sure to thrill genre fans.

It's true, I don't know if you've heard the story, but it's true…every time an indie film gets distro an angel gets its wings…or maybe it's a Hellspawn gets its chains…one or the other. Regardless, the important news here is that the award-winning brutal biker film, Dear God No!, has grabbed a distribution deal with Archstone Distribution.
Written and directed by James Bickert, Dear God No! had a great run at film festivals last year and looks to continue that success with this distribution deal with Archstone (the fine people who also distroed Machete and both Human Centipede films). The movie stars Jett Bryant, Madeline Brumby, Olivia Lacroix, Paul McComiskey, John Collins, Shane Morton, Nick Morgan, Rusty Stache, Jim Sligh, Billy Ratliff, Johnny McGowen, John Collins, Heath Street, Rachelle Lynn, Nick Hood and Jim Stacy.
