Marissa grew up on Long Island, in Woodbury, New York, where she fell
in love with the stage and screen at a young age and then attended
Syracuse University where she studied Musical Theater. She has gone on
to appear on Broadway along side Catherine Zeta Jones and Angela
Lansbury in Stephen Sondheim's revival of "A Little Night Music", Les
Miserables, and Bonnie and Clyde to name a few. Recently Marissa
starred as Stella Purdy in the world premiere of the Broadway aimed
musical "The Nutty Professor"(winner of best actress in a musical,
broadwayworld.com)- directed by the legendary Jerry Lewis, with music
by the late great Marvin Hamlisch and book and lyrics by Rupert Holmes.
Marissa has appeared all over the country in many touring and regional
stage productions, concerts, readings and workshops. She resides in New
York City.
