Aubry Peters
- Actor
- Editor
- Producer
Aubry Peters was born in Olathe, KS. His family moved almost
immediately after, and thus began Aubry's lifelong tour of the Midwest:
Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, and ultimately Kansas. Aubry was inspired by
the comedians of his youth, most notably Jim Carrey, but his aptitude
for entertaining and class-clowning was buried in academics and
wrestling. It was while attending the University of Kansas, battling
for a degree in Spanish Language, that Aubry's cousin and best friend
Josh Winegarner entered them into the 2005 Lawrence 48-hour film
competition. Immediately, Aubry's underlying love of film and
showmanship bubbled up to the surface. Since then, he and his friends
have continued to make short films, fighting fiercely against budget
constraints, and learning valuable lessons from each new project. In
2010, with no more than a single acting class under his belt, he
decided to organize and produce the feature that he had been in
developing for nearly two years, Affection/Affectation.
