Mitchell Herrin(I)
- Actor
- Writer
- Producer
Mitchell Herrin is an actor, a director, a writer and a father. He was
born in Gulfport, Mississippi to Clifford Herrin
and Lisa Lewis. His father joined the US Army shortly after that and he
was thrust into the world of being an army brat. He graduated from
Robert M Shoemaker High School in Killeen, Texas and moved back home to
Mississippi with aspirations of being a professional wrestler but the
acting bug reared its head again. He worked for a while in community
theatre at the Gulfport Little Theatre where he experienced a newfound
appreciation for acting and made it his goal. Unfortunately his home
was destroyed and he found himself displaced in Tampa, Florida after
Hurricane Katrina with his baby daughter Angelique. He made his way
into the world of metal music with the band Apocalyptic Prophecy where
he met his current producing partners Robert Borras and Chris Durand.
Apocalyptic Prophecy broke up leaving Mitchell wondering what he was
going to do with his life. The acting bug came back in full force. He
decided to audition for a film called When the Time Comes with
Rochambeau Productions. He nailed it and got the role of Ashley Ryan in
the film. After completing principal photography in that movie, he took
on the role of Quiet Man in the feature film Tagged from Creature
Productions and Ni-Cola Entertainment. He has since done a short
student film called Game Lord available on Youtube and as a
member of the cast of Reaper Films' If I Can't Have You. He is working
on a short film with his producing partners called A Rewritten Chapter.
