Daniela de Angel is an international actress born in Medellin,
Colombia. At the age of 5, Daniela's family moved to Spain, where she
received her primary and secondary education at a British school. Since
childhood she has excelled at horse ridding, competing at a
professional level from the age of 13, winning various medals at the
Eventing Spanish Nationals, and being invited to join the Spanish
national team for the Europeans at the age of 15. That same year she
was spotted in Miami, Florida, by the manager of a prestigious New York
model agency. However, she kindly declined the offer in order to
continue with her school education and her riding competitions. At the
age of 18 Daniela de Angel graduated from high school in Madrid and
moved to London to study Geology at Royal Holloway University of
London. At the age of 20 Daniela de Angel received a scholarship from
the University of California Davis, and took the opportunity to study
acting at the university. Back in London she graduated with an MSc in
Geology, studied Science Media Production at Imperial College while
studying contemporary theatre at RADA, The Royal Academy of dramatic
Arts, where she played Antonia in Dario Fo's "We can't pay? We won't
pay". In 2006 she directed the documentary "No Mines Land", winning an
award at the London IWM Festival. In 2007 Daniela de Angel moved back
to Madrid, Spain, and signed with her agent starting her career as a
professional actress. Ever since, she has worked as an actress in
national and international theatre, TV, film productions, and
advertising campaigns. Daniela has also directed several short films
selected in prestigious film festivals around the world. Due to her
international nature, multilingual skills and versatility as an
actress, Daniela spends her time between Los Angeles, Colombia, London
and Madrid.
