Ajay K. Garg

Ajay K Garg is a lyricist and screenwriter working in the Hindi Film Industry since year 2009. Since then, he has worked with many filmmakers, the most important of them being Madhur Bhandarkar. His first film song was for Madhur's film Jail in the year 2009, sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Ajay has been a journalist by profession before becoming a part of the film industry. A traveller by passion, he tries to bring into his work the actual human emotions experienced and witnessed by him through his interactions with people from different cultures and walks of life during his extensive travels. Apart from Hindi/Urdu, Ajay has written lyrics in English, Punjabi and Sanskrit also. Recently, he wrote the screenplay and dialogue for a short film with a Kashmir background, which is awaiting to be released.
