Carla Luffe began her career at Lars von Trier's Zentropa Entertainment before graduating from The National Film School of Denmark in 2015, working as an editors assistant for Susanne Bier. Carla edited writer/director Gustav Möller's 2018 high-suspense crime drama The Guilty; the intelligently crafted film was selected as the Danish submission for Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards and earned Carla Luffe a Best Edit Robert award. Latest she edited the feature "Mother, Couch" starring Ewan McGregor, Ellen Burstyn, Taylor Russel, Rhyss Ifans and Lara Flynn Boyle.
She quickly established herself as one of the leading young editors from Scandinavia and beyond, known for work that is simultaneously contemporary, graceful, and emotionally pronounced. Winning 38 awards over the past 5 years, she's making her mark in the sphere of narrative commercial editing.
She lives in NYC but works worldwide.
