Bryan Bostic was born and raised in a rough neighborhood where violence and poverty were a daily reality. Between his grandmother's house in the heart of South-Central Los Angeles and his mother's house in Watts, Bryan was always around gangs and criminal activity. Bryan's Uncle, who was living the hustler's lifestyle, is credited for keeping Bryan and his brother Maurice out of gangs so they could have the chance to live a better life. Despite the hardships, Bryan had a passion for storytelling and creativity. He found solace in watching movies and dreaming of making films someday. When he was eleven, Bryan asked his grandmother to show him how to use her VHS camera. He started filming his friends and family, capturing their moments and stories. Bryan and his brother co-founded Professional Hood Entertainment, a production company highlighting their work and others. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Digital Media Arts from CSUDH, Bryan has written, directed, and produced multiple award-winning short and feature films. Bryan has become a role model for many, showing that anyone can make a difference and achieve their dreams with hard work, dedication, and a passion for creativity.
