Rodger D. Eldridge

Born on a small Kentucky farm, Rodger D. Eldridge, was drawn to the stage at an early age in church pageants. He later starred in high school productions, and worked in community theater during his service in the Navy. Following college, he spent 37 years in the dairy cooperative field, rising to the top dairy lobbyist position in Washington, DC for nearly a dozen years representing all US dairy cooperatives. Even while "making a living", he still honed his craft of acting, appearing in commercials, as background in several movies, and never doubting he would one day be able to devote his entire schedule to chasing his dream. Following his retirement from the political world in 2007, he has been featured in several country music videos, has appeared in numerous local musical and dramatic theater roles, narrated several community productions, worked both film and print in several commercials, numerous student films in Nashville and Bowling Green, and steadily advanced his skills and acting reputation. He worked in 10 episodes of "Nashville", several feature films, several national commercials, and had a recurring role in "Still the King", a CMT television comedy. He is SAG Eligible.
