Matt Poidevin is a filmmaker based in Australia, he graduated with a Bachelor of Film Production from the SAE Creative Media College in 2016. The following year he graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media specializing in Lighting and Compositing for Visual Effects from CG Spectrum (Republica Education). Towards the end of 2017 Matt commenced working as a senior camera operator and editor at Australia largest commercial television network, WIN Television.
To date, Matt has worked on over fifty independent film projects. His highlights include, directing; producing; and writing his Peoples Choice Award short film Endure in 2014, which went on to broadcast on America's Comcast Network. In 2018 Matt edited the multi-award winning independent feature film Dad, which he won an award for Best Editing of a Foreign Feature Film in Italy. In 2019 he directed and produced the drama/thriller short film Forever House, winning a number of international awards for Best Short Film and nominated 16 times which included a nomination for Best Director.
