Cornelia Ivancan completed her acting training at the European Theater Institute in Berlin, followed by residences in New York, London and a film debut in "Der Vampir auf der Couch" alongside Tobias Moretti and Jeanette Hain. The film had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival and won the Gold Prize at the Montreal Fantasia Film Festival in 2015.
In 2014 she starred in the international production "Woman in Gold" alongside Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds, directed by Simon Curtis, and co-starred with Christina Hendricks for Matthew Weiners "The Romanoffs" in 2017. In addition to other film and television engagements, Cornelia Ivancan is known to a wider audience for her roles in the Austrian drama series "Copstories" and Bully Herbig's "Bullyparade - Der Film". In 2021 she starred in "Smother", a psychological drama with horror elements, directed by Achmed Abdel Salam. "Smother" will have its world premiere at "Diagonale - Festival of Austrian Film" in March 2023.
